FROSTBURG, Md.--The Hood College men's swim team (3-6, 1-5 CAC)
won seven individual events and one relay in securing their first
Capital Athletic Conference win of the season, 119-53, over
Frostburg State University Sunday.
Alex and Andrew Bodine both won a pair of events while Connor
Eliff, Robbie Ennis and Jon Collier also paced the field in their
respective races.
Alex Bodine won the 50 free (26.18) and the 100 back (1:06.36);
Andrew Bodine won the 200 free (2:14.17) and the 400 free
(5:01.72); Eliff (10:20.11) and Chris Patschak (10:51.94) went 1-2
in the 800 free; Ennis edged a trio of Bobcat swimmers in the 100
breast (1:13.77); and Collier captured the 100 free (1:01.13) and
was second in the 200 IM (2:33.74).
The Bodine brothers, along with Eliff and Ennis, swam
uncontested in the 200 medley relay, picking up 11 more points for
Hood with a clocking of 2:00.81.
Hood returns to action Saturday at Gallaudet University at 1
p.m.
