FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College men's tennis team (1-9, 0-3 CAC) lost to the St. Mary's College (Md.) Seahawks (12-2, 1-1 CAC) by a margin of 9-0 Saturday afternoon at Baker Park.

The Blazers collectively won eight games in the six singles matches and four in doubles action. No. 1 doubles team Carter Reitman and Andrew Blowe were upended by Andrew Gear and Arvin Wong, 8-3. Reitman won three games in the first set against Gear at first singles while Blowe did the same against Wong in the second set.

The Blazers next travel to Wesley College for a CAC match on April 10.
