STEVENSON, Md.--The Hood College men's tennis team (2-10, 1-4 CAC) fell to the Stevenson University Mustangs (5-7, 2-4 CAC), 8-1, Friday afternoon in a Capital Athletic Conference match.
Carter Reitman was a winner at first singles, defeating Ted Cooke, 6-2, 6-3. With the win, Reitman moved into a tie with former teammate Mike Hardman '11 for the career lead in singles wins (30).
Reitman and doubles partner Andrew Blowe gave Cooke and Shawn Kelley all they could handle at first doubles, falling 9-7.
Hood will host York College (Pa.) Saturday at Baker Park in another CAC match and will honor seniors Reitman, Blowe and Chris Papinsick before the match.
