Men's Tennis Suffers 9-0 Setback at Catholic

WASHINGTON, D.C.--The Hood College men's tennis team (0-4) dropped a 9-0 nonconference decision to the Catholic University Cardinals (3-2) Sunday afternoon.

The Cardinals swept the three doubles matches, surrendering just two games combined, and earned straight set victories in the six singles matches. Thomas Spivey won three games at No. 4 and Chad Love and Philip Roedig won one apiece at first and third singles, respectively.

Hood will resume its suspended match with Shepherd University from Thursday this coming Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 4:30 p.m. at the Hood Tennis Courts.
