GRANTHAM, Pa.--The Hood College men's tennis team (0-12, 0-5 Commonwealth) dropped a 9-0 Commonwealth Conference decision to the Messiah College Falcons (8-5, 4-1 Commonwealth) Monday afternoon.

In singles, Chad Love and Luis Cotto took one game apiece from their opponents at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. The duo also fell 8-1 at first doubles to Michael Brookhart and Peter Shuck.

Hood's next match is slated for Thursday against Harford Community College at home at 3 p.m.
