FROSTBURG, Md. - Hood College defeated Stevenson and the host Bobcats at a quad meet hosted by Frostburg State, but fell to Goucher.
The Blazers defeated the Mustangs 158-6 and the Bobcats 128-73, but fell 110-95 to the Gophers.
Cameron Rogers (Severn, Md. / Archbishop Spalding), Dillon Marier (Dover, Del. / Dover) and BJ Daisey (Lewes, Del. / Sussex Tech) all won two events on the day.
Chris Gardner (Smyrna, Del. / Cab Calloway School of the Arts), Daisey, Alex Bodine (Frederick, Md. / Urbana), and Marier claimed the first win of the afternoon in the 200-meter medley relay with a time of 1:52.44.
Rogers (Severn, Md. / Archbishop Spalding) notched his first win of the day in the 800 freestyle, touching the wall at 9:04.27, finishing 18 seconds before any other swimmer. He had another top finish in the 400 free, turning in a time of 4:26.71. Gardner was the next Blazer to finish at 4:45.66, putting him in third.
Marier had another first place in the 100 free, swimming a time of 55.73. Jonathan Collier (Darby, Pa. / Home Schooled) finished at 57.50, good for third place. Marier placed second in the 50 free, turning in a time of 24.72, just .04 seconds shy of first.
Daisey claimed his second win of the day in the 200 individual medley finishing in 2:24.90. Gardner was the next finisher with a time of 2:25.51. With a time of 1:11.32, Daisey placed third in the 100 breaststroke.
Bodine had second place finishes in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke with times of 1:00.48 and 1:03.97, respectively.
Lucas Mestas-Nunez (Corpus Christi, Texas / Bluff) swam a time of 1:33.30 in the 200 free for a second place finish.
Rounding out the day in the 200 freestyle relay, Mestas-Nunez, Eliseo Bell-Uribe (Keizer, Ore. / McNary), Christopher Dell (Annapolis, Md. / Broadneck) and Collier placed second at 1:44.89.
Hood travels to Lycoming for a meet on November 1.
