FREDERICK, Md. - Luis Cotto (Frederick, Md. / Tuscarora) won in singles play for the second time this weekend, but it proved to be Hood's only point in an 8-1 loss to FDU-Florham.

Cotto won a pro set 8-5 over Danny Aviles at sixth singles for the Blazers' only win of the afternoon. Tyler Schuck (Frederick, Md. / Tuscarora) nearly pushed AJ Warden to a third set a second singles, but fell 6-1, 7-5.

Cotto was involved in the closest call in doubles action. He and Philip Roedig (Farmingdale, N.Y. / St. John the Baptist) fell 8-4 at third doubles to Aviles and Nik Radovic.

Hood travels to Elizabethtown on April 22.
