READING, Md. - Hood College's Joseph Benton (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) claimed wins in both singles and doubles as the Blazers fell to Alvernia, 6-3.

The sophomore paired with Philip Roedig (Farmingdale, N.Y. / St. John the Baptist) at second doubles for a 9-8 win over Ben Daubenspeck and Kyle Clark. He picked up his second win of the day at fourth singles against Jacob Conapitski, 6-2, 6-4.

Alex Sexton (Mesa, Ariz. / Mesa) topped Aaron Yuros at second singles with a 6-3, 6-2 win.

The Blazers look to get back in the win column against Stevenson on April 15 at 1 p.m.
