GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Hood College men's tennis team dropped its season finale at Messiah by a score of 9-0.

In doubles, the No. 1 pairing of Alex Sexton (Mesa, Ariz. / Mesa) and Joshua Sexton (Mesa, Ariz. / Mesa) won a game before falling to Mike Brookhart and Tim Dunn, 8-1.

Vladislav Sluchenkov (Vladivostok, Russia / Garmonia) fell to Brookhart 6-0, 6-3 at first singles. Alex Sexton dropped his match to Pete Shuck, 6-2, 6-2.

Hood's four wins this season are the most for the program since the 2009-10 season.
