FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's swimming team fell in a dual meet to visiting McDaniel, 127-40. 

How it Happened

• Ashley Griffin and Brianna Hand-Solomon won events for the Blazers. 
• Griffin won the 100-yard freestyle in 57.13 seconds, winning by 1.7 seconds. 
• In the 200 free, Hand-Solomon scored a victory with her time of 2:06.49, out-reaching the Green Terror's Cara Dube by just 0.37 seconds. 
• Kate Sanborn swam a 2:37.10 to take second place in the 200 breaststroke. 

Notes

• Hood is 1-9 on the year. McDaniel is 3-3.
