FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 final to visiting Lycoming in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

The Blazers' lone doubles point came from Jorden Hahn (Thurmont, Md. / Catoctin) and Conor Riggin (Sykesville, Md. / Century) at second doubles. The pair defeated Evan Bennetch and Joe Amento 8-6. 

Alex Sexton (Mesa, Ariz. / Mesa) and Tanner Ruths (Stephens City, Va. / Sherando) scored singles victories for Hood. Sexton needed three sets to win 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 over Bryce Jones at first singles. Ruths was a winner at sixth singles in a pro-set 8-5 against Zachary High. 

Hood travels to Eastern on Apr. 18.
