FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College's men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 final to first place Messiah in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth match.

The Blazers' lone point was a win for Alex Sexton (Mesa, Ariz. / Mesa) at first singles. The sophomore knocked off the Falcons' Tim Dunn 6-3, 0-6, 10-8. 

Hood travels to Lebanon Valley on Apr. 23.
