ANNVILLE, Pa. - Hood College's Alex Sexton (Mesa, Ariz. / Mesa) kept up his strong play with a pair of wins, but Lebanon Valley defended its home courts for a 6-3 win in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

Sexton teamed with Joe Benton (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) at first doubles for just the second time this year and scored an 8-2 win over Nick Jones and Joel Eisenhower.  

At first singles, Sexton notched a 7-6, 6-3 win over Jones. Jorden Hahn (Thurmont, Md. / Catoctin) lost the first set, but rebounded for a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win at fourth singles against Elliott Kleckner.

Benton won a set at second singles, but ultimately fell to Jonathan Hastings 6-4, 5-7, 6-3.

Hood hosts Arcadia on Apr. 30.
