FREDERICK, Md. -The Hood College Men's Swim Team came up short to Arcadia University 194-52 after placing in ten events.
How it Happened
- Max Riedel was awarded second place in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:47.31. He snagged third place finishes in the 500-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke with times of 5:20.36 and 1:01.61.
- Gaby Hernandez-Paese placed in the top three in two events. His second place 100-yard breaststroke was recorded at 1:05.47 and his third place 200-yard breaststroke at 2:27.95.
- Placing third in two events was Matthew Ball. His time for the 100-yard butterfly was 58.58 and his 200-yard backstroke time was 2:16.83.
- Drew Wilson finished third in two events. He came in at 24.67 in the 50-yard freestyle and 2:00.30 in the 200-yard freestyle.
- Michael Cheripka took home a third place finish with his time of 57.17 in the 100-yard freestyle.

- This was the first competition of the season for the Blazers.
