WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Hood College men's tennis team picked up its second win of the year and first Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth victory 5-4 at Lycoming.

How it Happened

• Michael Brady, Joe Benton and Tanner Ruths each won twice for the Blazers, combining for all five of Hood's points. 
• Brady won 7-5, 6-1 against Rob Smith at second singles. Earlier, he teamed with Alex Sexton at first doubles to defeat Bryce Jones and Mitch Wheary 8-5. 
• Benton and Ruths teamed for an 8-5 win at third doubles over Evan Bennetch and Joshua Cram. Benton went on to win 6-1, 6-2 over Wheary at third singles. Ruths was a 6-1, 6-2 winner against Cram at sixth singles.
