WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Hood College women's swim team fell to McDaniel College by a final score of 68-45.

How it Happened

• Danielle Pong took home the win in the 100-yard individual medley, finishing in 1:06.51. She also swam the 50-yard butterfly in 29.15, good enough for second place.
• R'Janae Marshall placed first in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 36.75. Grace Winpigler followed in second, finishing in 38.23.
• Molly Cronin completed the 100-yard backstroke in 1:07.25, placing second in the event. 
• Ann Coleman placed second in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing in 26.81.
• Mandy Smith finished the 100-yard freestyle in 1:03.09, placing second. She also earned a second-place finish in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 34.06.
• Kate Sanborn swam the 200-yard individual medley in 2:30.66 for a second-place finish. 
• Ashley Coppage placed second in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing in 1:08.25. 
• Hood's 200-yard medley relay team of Cronin, Sanborn, Pong, and Coleman swam a time of 1:59.23 to claim second place.
