FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's swim team dropped their Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth matchup against Albright with a final score of 165-87.

How it Happened

Hood's 200-yard medley relay team of Molly Cronin, Kate Sanborn, Ann Coleman, and Danielle Pong swam a time of 2:01.30 to claim first place.
Coleman completed the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:24.70 for a second place finish. Melissa Jacobs finished the event in 2:28.46 to earn third place.
Cronin placed third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:10.36 while Coleman's time of 1:07.49 earned her second place in the event.
Sanborn's time of 1:13.65 in the 100-yard breaststroke was good enough for second place. She also placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke with her time of 2:43.55.
Pong earned a third-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke, completing the event in 1:13.74. Her time of 28.50 in the 50-yard freestyle was good enough for third place. She placed third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:03.25.
Jacobs swam the 200-yard freestyle in 2:15.77, placing second. Sanborn finished the event in 2:17.65, claiming third place.
Mandy Smith placed second in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 21:22.82.
Haleigh Seek earned third place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:09.90. Coleman placed second in the event with a time of 1:07.28.
Ashley Coppage placed third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:33.40. She finished the 500-yard freestyle in 6:12.37 to earn second place, while Smith finished in 6:19.41 to claim third.
Hood's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Grace Winpigler, Seek, Coppage, and Jacobs swam a time of 1:58.66 to claim second place.
