FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's tennis team dropped its matchup against DeSales at home with a final score of 8-1.

Doubles

• At first doubles, Megan Carter and Skylar Wright teamed up for a 8-7 (2) win against the duo of Annie Rakos and Alex Rodier.
• The Bulldogs' second doubles team of Bailey Greco and Kirsten Kosa defeated Katie Cautero and Hannah Dumikjan 8-2.

Singles

• Carter and Wright had the closest calls in singles play.
• Carter pushed Rakos to a tiebreaker in the first and won the second set before falling in a super tiebreaker at first singles 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-10. 
• Wright fell to Kosa in No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-2.

Notes

• Hood is now 1-1 on the season.
• DeSales improves to 2-0.
