CHESTER, Pa. - The Hood College men's swimming team traveled to Widener University for a Middle Atlantic Conference quad-meet with King's College, Messiah University and the Pride.
Team Scores
- The Blazers defeated King's 124-53 but fell 138-49 to Widener and 135-63 to Messiah.
Top Finishes
- Hazen Stowell (West Jordan, Utah/Riverton) swam a 10:46.20 in the 1000-yard freestyle to earn the Blazers lone first place finish. Stowell also earned second in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:03.87.
- Ethan Hubble (Middletown, Md./Middletown) earned two third place finishes for Hood. Hubble swam a 1:54.26 in the 200-yard free and a 5:19.43 in the 500-yard free.
- Patrick Krol (Ellicott City, Md./Homeschool) added two fifth place finishes to the point count for the Blazers in the 400-yard IM in 4:58.34 and the 200-yard back in 2:14.05.
- Ike Brittingham (Lewes, Del./Sussex Central) and Storm Fuller (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood) both added third place finishes in their respective events. Brittingham swam a 2:2.85 in the 200-yard breaststroke while Fuller swam a 2:10.29 in the 200-yard back.
- Chris Krol (Ellicott City, Md./Homeschooled) and CJ Pong (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) earned fourth place finishes for Hood. Krol swam the 400-yard IM in 4:50.49 and Pong swam a 51.24 in the 100-yard free.
- The 200-yard medley relay team of Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn), Brittingham, Fuller and Pong earned second swimming a 1:41.56.
- The 200-yard freestyle medley relay team of Chance, Hubble, Pong and Stowell earned third with a 1:32.59.

- The Blazers advance to 3-2 (2-2) on the season.
