FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College men's tennis team fell 9-0 to the visiting Alvernia University Goldne Wolves in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth opener on Saturday.
Doubles
- The pair of Kyle Richardson and Jeff Felming fell 8-4 at number one doubles to Mike Blophy and Kevin Angeles.
Singles
- After a close scoring match at number one singles between Richardson and Blophy, Alvernia earned the 6-4, 6-3 victory over Hood.

The Blazers fall to 1-4 (0-1) on the season and will be back on the court when they travel to Stevenson for a 3 p.m. MAC Commonwealth matchup with the Mustangs.
