Men's tennis loses in fall opener

FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College men's tennis team was swept by visiting Marymount in its first dual match of the fall.

Doubles

Jeff Fleming (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) and Jake Stubits (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame-Green Pond) dropped an 8-0 final at first doubles to Nathaniel Tesfaye and Seb Dijkema.

Singles

Fleming, Stubits and Irafan Hayiarwae (Pattani, Thailand/UWC Dilijan) all lost in singles.

Notes

Hood is 0-1 on the year, while the Saints improved to 2-0.
