York Pa. – Hood College's
Hazen Stowell (West Jordan, Utah/Riverton) won two events as the men's swim team fell short at York (Pa.) 143-61 in a Middle Atlantic Conference dual meet.
Winners
- Stowell picked up individual wins for the 500-yard freestyle (4.58.88) and the 1000-yard freestyle (10:26.27).
- Ike Brittingham (Lewes, Del./Sussex Central) won the 100-yard breaststroke with a final time of 1:03.32.
Seconds
- Storm Fuller (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood), Ethan Hubble (Middletown, Md./Middletown), Stowell, and Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn) placed second for the men's 200-yard free swim. (1:03.32).
- Chance added a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.24.
- Fuller also placed second for the 100-yard backstroke touching the wall in 58.24.
- Hubble placed second for the 100-yard freestyle finishing in 50.67.
- Patrick Krol (Ellicott City, Md./Homeschool), Brittingham, Russell Odor (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) and Andrew Bezmen (Sumy, Ukraine/UWC-USA) came in second for the 200-yard medley relay. (1:43.07).
