Box Score FREDERICK, Md. -- The Hood men's tennis team wrapped up the fall season with a 5-2 loss to visiting Mount Aloysius College.

Doubles

• Tyler James (Frederick, Md., Middletown) and Isaac Hatch (Brunswick, Md., Brunswick) teamed up to earn an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles, their second win of the fall.

Singles

• James improved his fall singles record to 3-1 with a 6-3, 6-1 win at the top spot.
• Brady Vlha (New Market, Md., Linganore) and Dhane McCloud (Waldorf, Md., Thomas Stone) both went to third set tiebreakers in their matches at No. 3 singles and No. 4 singles. However, Vlha fell 4-6, 7-6 (5), 10-6 and McCloud lost 4-6, 6-2, 10-6.

Match Note

• Both teams were missing a sixth player, so the third doubles and sixth singles spots were not played and the match totaled seven points.
