Reading, Pa.-The Hood College women's swimming team earned their first victory of the season, defeating Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth rival Albright.

Olivia Wainstein (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) took first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:13.31, withÂ
Emma Prince (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Male) finishing right behind her in 1:36.36. Wainstein also finished first in the 100-yard backstroke with a 1:13.31.
Ridley Little (Bristol, Va./Virginia) had a first-place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:20.25. The junior also came in second in the 500 Yard Freestyle, finishing in 6:06.44.  Â
Andrea Kassa (Monongahela, Pa./Ringgold) finished first in 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:41.30, and came second in the 200-yard IM with time of 2:23.93.
Hood had top finishes in the 200-yard medley relay with Wainstein, Kassa,
Addy Benton (Frederick, Md./Urbana) and
Sidney Brinkman (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) combining to win in 2:06.09.
The Blazers also won the 200-yard freestyle relay with the team of Little,
Nina Goddyn (Bussy-les-Daours, France/United World College Red Cross Nordic - Norway),Â
Emma Prince (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Male) andÂ
Jordan Taylor (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra Area) finishing with a time of 2:06.89. Â
