WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Hood College's men's tennis team wes swept by a deep Catholic team 9-0 on Saturday afternoon. 

Doubles

• Tyler James (Frederick, Md., Middletown) and Isaac Hatch (Brunswick, Md., Brunswick) lost 8-1 at No. 1 doubles, while Brady Vlha (New Market, Md., Linganore) and Dhane McCloud (Waldorf, Md., Thomas Stone) fell 8-2 in the second spot

Singles

• At third singles, Vlha played a close first set, 6-3, before his opponent closed out the second set 6-0.
• In the fourth spot, McCloud earned three games, falling 6-1, 6-2.
