Women’s Swimming outlasts Green Terror

WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Hood College women's swim team edged out their out-of-conference foe McDaniel with a final score of 119 -114.

Top Finishes
Andrea Kassa (Monongahela, Pa./Ringgold) took first place in the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:07.76 and 2.36.24 respectively.
Olivia Wainstein (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) placed first in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:15.18 and 2:44.74 respectively.
Addy Benton (Frederick, Md./Urbana) placed second in both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke with times of 1:09.91 and 2:34.14 respectively.
Sidney Brinkman (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) placed second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28.40.

Notes
The win secures a Hood 2-5 (1-4) record on the season.
