FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College had an impressive day in the pool with swimmers coming in first in all 15 events. The Blazers would go on to beat the Flying Dutchmen 194 -50 in a dual meet.
Top Finishers
Ethan Hubble (Middletown, Md./Middletown) led the Blazers with three first -place finishes. Hubble earned first in the 1000 Yard Freestyle in 11:04.18, 50 Yard Freestyle in 23.30 and 100 Yard Butterfly in 57.24
Storm Fuller (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood),
Hazen Stowell (West Jordan, Utah/Riverton) and
Isiah Brittingham (Lewes, Del./Sussex Central) led the Blazers with two first-place finishes. Fuller earned first in the 100 Yard Backstroke in 57.61 and the 100 Yard Freestyle in 50.08. while Stowell earned first in the 200 Yard Freestyle in 1:51.74 and the 500 Yard Freestyle in 5:02.50. Brittingham earned first in the 100 Yard Breaststroke in 59.95 and the 200 Yard Breaststroke in 2:14.58.
Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn) and
Jacob Hauff (Nazareth, Pa./Pen Argyl Area) both earned first in their respective events for the Blazers. Chance swam a 2:13.07 in the 200 Yard Butterfly while Hauff swam a 2:11.09 in the 200-yard IM.
All 200-yard medley relay team finished first for the blazers.
