FREDERICK, Md. — The Blazer men's tennis team was blanked 9-0 by Alvernia University in its first conference match of the season on Saturday afternoon.
Doubles
The tandems of
Isaac Hatch (Brunswick, Md./Brunswick) and
Brady Vlha (New Market, Md./Linganore) and
Dhane McCloud (Waldorf, Md./Thomas Stone) and
Jaden Adams (Frederick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) each fell by a score line of 8-0.
Singles
Vlha earned two games in his No. 2 singles match, while McCloud won one game at No.3. In the other two matches, the Blazers were swept 6-0, 6-0.
Match Notes
The Blazers were short handed with just four players, leading to defaults at No. 3 doubles and fifth and sixth singles.
