FREDERICK, Md. – The Hood college men's swimming team finished their final home meet of the season even, defeating the Green Terror of McDaniel College but falling to the St. Mary's College of Maryland Seahawks.

The Seahawks defeated the Blazers 194-61.
St. Mary's MD beat McDaniel 195-66.
Top Finishes
Hank Machen (Knoxville, Md./Brunswick) took silver in the 1000-yard freestyle, finishing in 11:34.27.
Ethan Hubble (Middletown, Md./Middletown) finished in third in the 200-yard freestyle event, touching the wall at 1:54.66.
Jacob Gardner () snagged second in the 50-yard and 100-yard breaststroke with times of 29.93 and 1:05.81 respectively.
Storm Fuller (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood) ended the 100-yard freestyle in second with a final time of 52.43, and third in the 50-yard freestyle with a 23.20.
Jalen Chance (New Castle, Del./William Penn) finished the 100-yard backstroke with a 59.17 final time, enough for second place, taking second place in the 100-yard IM with a 57.62.
Hubble also grabbed a podium spot in the 50-yard butterfly with a final time of 25.56.
