FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood college women's swimming team finished their final home meet of the season even, defeating the Green Terror of McDaniel College but falling to the St. Mary's College of Maryland Seahawks.

Top Finishes
The 200-yard medley relay team of
Addy Benton (Frederick, Md./Urbana),
Lindsay DeLauder (Frederick, Md./Frederick),
Andrea Kassa (Monongahela, Pa./Ringgold), and
Sidney Brinkman (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) took second place with a combined time of 2:05.93.
Kassa went for the gold in the 500-yard freestyle with a 5:37.80, also taking home silver in the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard IM, finishing the former in 2:05.30 and the latter in 1:08.40.
Benton won the 100-yard backstroke event by touching the wall in 1:08.89, finishing in second in the 50-yard backstroke with a 32.86.
DeLauder got second place in both the 50-yard and 100-yard backstroke events with final times of 37.38 and 1:21.55 respectively.
Brinkman earned second in the 100-yard butterfly event with her 1:09.69 time, and third in the 50-yard butterfly with a 29.60.
Hannah-Grace Enriquez (Frederick,Md./Frederick High School) got on the podium in the 50-yard freestyle, earning third with her 28.39 time.
