READING, Pa. – The men's indoor track and field team competed in multiple events at the Alvernia Winter Invitational at the PLEX hosted by Alvernia University.
 
Alex Seskar (Great Mills, Md./Great Mills) headlined the Blazers with his 8^th place finish in the 1 mile race with a solid time of 4:34.77. Leule Yohannes (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) followed in the pack with a 32^nd place finish with 5:10.87.
 
Hood's 4x400m relay team consisting of Seskar, Bellevue, Salieu Ballah (Frederick, Md./Sierra Leone Grammar School) and Leule Yohannes (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) finished in 8^thright in front of Kutztown with a time of 3:43.19.
 
Harryson Bellevue (Brooklyn, N.Y/Coney Island Prep) and Carter Naiman held down the fort in the field event with Bellevue's 8^th place finish and a distance of 1.83m. Naiman followed with a 9^th place finish with a distance of 3.55m in the shot put while Neil Rozario's (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area High School) 3.55m distance earned 14^th.
