CHESTER, Pa. - The women's track and field team competed at the Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by Widener, on Saturday. Zechman continued her record-breaking run for the second consecutive week.
Top Finishes
Tay Zechman (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) took third place in the Women's Javelin Throw with yet another program-record setting performance. Her attempt at 37.12m shatters the previous record, which she set just a week ago, by over two meters. She also placed in the Women's Hammer Throw with a toss of 41.15m.
Aylene Noy (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) finished the Women's 1500m in 5:03.87 to post a new personal best.
In the Women's 400m,
Megan Pezenosky (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) and
Tianna White (Silver Spring, Md./James Hubert Blake) crossed the finish line one after another in 1:05.97 and 1:06.01, respectively.
