Kole Johnson

Kole Johnson joined Hood’s esports coaching staff in the summer of 2021.

From March 15, 2022 through the end of the spring, he was the interim head coach of all of the Blazers' esports offerings. In the spring of 2022, he led the Overwatch team to its second New England Collegiate Conference Championship of the 2021-22 season. 

He is well-versed in first-person shooters, including FPS Halo and Overwatch.  

As an undergraduate student, Johnson was a member of the Kent State University
track and field team. Johnson graduated from Kent State in 2019 after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science with minors in nutrition, athletic training, coaching and sports management.

He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in
business administration at Hood.
