Josie Niovich joined the cross country and track and field staffs as an assistant coach for the 2020-2021 season.
Prior to Hood, she spent two years as the assistant track and field coach at Stevenson University.
Niovich competed in track and field for four years at the NCAA Division III level and was named to the Indoor All-Conference team for 60-meter hurdles in both the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. She also broke the school records for 100-meter hurdles and 60-meter hurdles.
A 2016 graduate of Allegheny College, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science and is currently pursuing her master’s of environmental biology at Hood.
