Shelby Shrader enters her first season at Hood College as the cross country and track and field assistant coach for the 2020-2021 season. Prior to Hood, she worked with the head and assistant cross country coaches at Shenandoah University to assist with administrative functions and facilitate team fundraisers.
Shrader competed in cross country and track and field at the NCAA Division III level for four years. In 2016, she was named to the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference Second Team as well as the All-Region USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
A 2017 graduate of Shenandoah University, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in history with a minor in coaching.
