Brittany Rose, a former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, is in hersecond year as the head cheer coach at Hood College.
Rose has owned and operated More Than Cheer since 2008, runningcamps and clinics for girls ages three and up and running cheerteams for minor league sports teams.
From 2007-10, she was an assistant coach at Henrico High Schoolin Richmond, Virginia and also coached the USA All-Stars inRichmond. In 2006, Rose served as the cheerleading commissioner atthe Shady Grove YMCA in Richmond.
She spent 2006-07 as a gymnastics coordinator in Leesburg,Virginia.
A graduate of Heritage High School in Leesburg, she was an AACDAll-American as a senior and a four-time NCA All-American. In 2003,she won a Top Gun Jump & Tumbling Award at NCA Camp and was the2004 third runner up for Ms. Cheerleader USA.
In 2006-07, Rose was a scholarship cheerleader at AvilaUniversity in Kansas City, Mo. She later transferred to VirginiaCommonwealth for the 2007 and 2008 seasons as a member of the allgirl cheer squad.
She is a 2011 graduate of VCU.
