Hood College

Patrick Evans was promoted to Associate Athletic Trainer in June 2026 after previously working as an assistant from 2022-2026.

Prior to Hood, Evans worked as an athletic trainer at Mount Saint Mary's University (2021-22) and Washington College (2018-21). 

Evans received a Master’s of Health Administration from the Mount in 2023 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Boston University in 2018. While at BU, he gained clinical experience working with Northeastern’s women’s ice hockey, Tufts women’s lacrosse, and Boston University’s men’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s swimming, and men’s lacrosse teams.

Evans is a board-certified athletic trainer and licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians. He holds his certification from the Red Cross in Basic Life Support. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association, and the Maryland Athletic Trainers Association.
