Hood College

Shane Stephens has joined the Hood College softball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant for the 2024 season.

He has many years of coaching experience with both high-level travel baseball and softball programs. Prior to coaching youth travel teams, Stephens played and coached on a number of championship men’s travel softball teams both in Maryland and in Florida.

He received a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1984 from Florida International University and completed his master's degree in sports management at St. Thomas University in Miami FL in 1988. Stephens currently resides in Poolesville MD.
