Thomas Chatfield

Thomas Chatfield is in his second year as the assistant athletic trainer at Hood College.

Before coming to Hood, Chatfield worked as the head athletic trainer at St. Maria Goretti High School in Hagerstown, Md. since 2011. He also served as an assistant athletic director from 2012 until accepting his position at Hood. Chatfield taught physical education and health at St. Maria Goretti High School.

Chatfield received his bachelor’s degree from Towson University in 2011. While attending Towson University, he served as a athletic training student, assisting with the Tigers 21 NCAA Division I athletic offerings.

Chatfield  is board certified, state licensed by Maryland Board of Physicians, CPR/AED Professional Rescuer/ HC Provider and National Safety Council First Aid certified. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Maryland Athletic Trainers' Association, and the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers' Association.
