Devin Hill enters his first year as a student-assistant coach for the Blazers.
Hill played for the men's basketball team as a freshman in 2012, but later decided to pursue coaching at the high school and AAU levels. He spent the previous three years as an assistant varsity basketball coach at his alma mater, The Potomac School, located in McLean, Virginia. Under head coach Levi Franklin, Hill's responsibilities included player development, practice and game planning, and recruiting, along with head coaching the varsity fall and summer league teams. Hill spent previous years coaching in the Maryland's Finest Boys Basketball AAU Program, where he was head coach of the 15U team and assistant coach of the 16U and 17U teams. He also spent a summer as an assistant for the Fairfax Stars 15U Boys Basketball team.
Hill earned his varsity basketball and football letters from The Potomac School. He helped lead the football team to back-to-back conference championships and two VISAA state championship runner up finishes. He also helped lead the basketball team to its first ever conference tournament championship in 2012. At The Potomac School, Hill received all-conference honors in both football and basketball, along with being named all-state honorable mention in football as a senior. Prior to attending The Potomac School, Hill attended Paul VI Catholic High school in Fairfax, Virginia, where he helped the varsity basketball team win the 2009 VISAA state championship, the program's first such title.
A native of Clinton, Maryland, Hill is pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science with a minor in web development.
