Tom Dickman

Tom Dickman has served as the head coach of the men's golf teamsince the program's inception in 2005.

The Blazer linksmen compete in tournaments across the regionagainst some of the top programs in the Northeast.

Dickman mentored his first all-Capital Athletic Conferenceperformer in 2008-09 when Evan Chaney, then a sophomore, earnedall-league second team accoaldes.

On. Oct. 19, 2010, Dickman's foursome of Evan Chaney (76), JakeCole (76), Andy Alger (78) and Jon Heile (79) combined to postHood's lowest team score ever, a 309, as the Blazers took secondout of 11 teams at the Falcon Classic hosted by Messiah College atthe Blue Ridge Country Club in Palmerton, Pa.

Hood placed fifth in the team standings at both the inauguralconference championship in 2008 as well as the 2010 championship.Hood took fourth at the rain-shortened, 18-hole CAC championship in2011 and, in 2012, in its final year in the conference, placedfifth.

Dickman, an associate director of athletics at Hood, has alsoserved as Blazers' men's basketball coach since the 2003-04season.
