Kevin Ciocco and Saoirse Conley of the indoor track and field team are the Hood College Athletes of the Week for February 17.

Ciocco threw the shot put 12.30 meters (40-4 1/4) to win by nearly 0.60 meters. He also broke his own school record and became the first Blazer to pass 40 feet in the event.

Conley helped Hood dominate at the Larry Sharpe Memorial Invitational. Conley won the 1,000-yard run with a time of 3:21.14, defeating a teammate by exactly 4.25 seconds.
