Lydia Erickson of the women's soccer team was named Hood College Athlete of the Week on October 14, 2019.

Erickson helped the Blazers to their first 2-0 conference start since joining the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth. After making a pair of saves against Alvernia, she tallied 19 in an overtime shutout victory over Lebanon Valley, Hood's first victory over the Dutchmen.
