Clay Smith of the men's soccer team and Jess Leaver of the women's soccer team are the Hood College Athletes of the Week for September 9, 2019.

Smith scored a hat trick in the Blazers' first game of the week in a win over Marymount (Va.). He ended the match with 32 career goals, moving into second all-time at Hood.
