FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College men's soccer team (4-10, 1-5 CAC) dropped a 6-0 decision to the visiting Salisbury University Sea Gulls (11-3-2, 4-2 CAC) Saturday afternoon in a Capital Athletic Conference matchup at Thomas Athletic Field.

The Sea Gulls outshot the Blazers 46-2, which included 21 shots on goal. Shawn Fernholz made a season-high 15 saves in the net while Corey DeMaster and James Larrimore tallied one shot apiece on the afternoon.

Salisbury scored two goals in the first half by Ben DeLisle and Alex Hargrove. Then in the second half, Sam Forline netted back-to-back scores six minutes apart and Chas Gray and Dave Corrigan capped the scoring for the visitors in the final seven minutes of the game.

Hood will look to snap a three-game losing skid Wednesday when it hosts Stevenson University at 3 p.m. in another CAC game.
