FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College men's tennis team (2-9, 0-6 CAC) fell to the visiting Villa Julie College Mustangs 5-3 Saturday in a Capital Athletic Conference match at the Baker Park Tennis Courts.

Mike Hardman downed Ryan Woodring in three sets at first singles, 6-2, 1-6, 6-2, while David Blowe knocked off Korey Garner in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3. Blowe also teamed with Garrett Loomer to topple Garner and Randy Speck at second doubles, 8-2.

The Blazers will travel to the University of Mary Washington Sunday for a CAC first round match at noon.
