HUNTINGDON, Pa.--The Hood College men's soccer team (2-10) lost
its third straight game Monday, falling 2-0 to the Juniata College
Eagles (6-7) in nonconference action.
The Eagles scored a goal in each half and ended a four-game
losing skid on the season. Juniata also did not surrender a Blazer
shot on goal on the afternoon. Freshman William Lane was credited
with seven saves in the losing cause.
Juniata's Luke Waddell got the Eagles on the board in the 14th
minute and Greg Hess found the back of the net in the 66th minute.
Hood returns to Capital Athletic Conference play Saturday at
Salisbury University at 2 p.m.
