FROSTBURG, Md.--Freshman Andrew Bodine and senior Chris Moreland
won one individual event apiece in a 108-67 nonconference setback
to the Frostburg State University Bobcats Saturday.
Moreland took top honors in the 200 free (2:17.34) while Bodine
paced the field in the 50 free (26.44).
Moreland was also second in the 100 fly (1:05.79) and Bodine
took second in the 100 back (1:12.44).
Ethan Weidman took second in the 200 free (2:26.26), while
Carlin Rabie placed fourth in both the 50 free (28.47) and the 100
free (1:06.04.
Matthew Benoit came in second in the 200 IM (2:41.17) and third
in the 100 free (1:03.27).
Kyle Atras finished third in the 800 free (13:13.68) and the 400
free (6:24.46).
Thomas Williams touched the wall fifth in the 100 free (1:23.66)
and second in the 100 breast (1:35.43).
The 200 free relay team of Moreland, Bodine, Benoit and Weidman
outpaced the Bobcat relay team by more than six seconds in a time
of 1:49.80. Hood's 200 medley relay squad of Rabie, Williams,
Weidman and Atras took second in 2:24.70.
Hood's next meet is slated for Sunday at Capital Athletic
Conference rival Gallaudet University at 1 p.m.
