Box Score FREDERICK, Md - A goal in the 51st minute was the difference as the Hood men's soccer team lost to Randolph-Macon 1-0 this afternoon at Thomas Athletic Field.
After a tight first half, Andrew Oaks made a move around the left corner of the box, and buried the shot in the low nearside corner.
The Blazers had most of the chances, as the team had seven corner kicks and 17 shots. Randolph-Macon keeper Chris Lowe made seven saves for his first shutout of the year.
Hood keeper Ryan Deuber faced seven shots and made three saves in the losing effort.
The men's next game is September 10th at 4 p.m. when the Blazers travel to McDaniel to face the Green Terror.
