MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - The Hood College volleyball team defeated Penn State Harrisburg 3-0 on the road in non-conference action.

Set scores were 25-20, 27-25 and 25-18.

The win was the second straight for the Blazers and improved them to 5-10 on season.

Addie Roop (New Windsor, Md. / Francis Scott Key) matched her career-high with 10 kills and added 11 digs for her second career double-double. Her 10 kills came with just a single error in 25 attempts for a .360 percentage. 

Hayley Rogers (Sandwich, Ill. / Brunswick (Md.)) continued her strong play with seven kills, two aces and three blocks.

Brenna Elizondo (Littleton, Colo. / Heritage) and Kathryn Jones (Newfane, N.Y. / Newfane) split the setting duties in the match. Elizondo had 17 assists and a service ace, while Jones dished out 15 assists.

Kelsey Ritner (Barnegat, N.J. / Barnegat) tied Roop for the team-high with 11 digs. Allie Donoghue (Owings, Md. / Bishop McNamara) and Ashley Park-Brouse (Myersville, Md. / Middletown) added two blocks apiece.

The Blazers hit a season-high .202 in the win. 

Kiara Carter had eight kills for Penn State Harrisburg and Casey Stump notched a match-high 25 assists.

Hood travels to Albright on September 24.
